Wishlist Member is a plugin that can turn any basic WordPress setup into a membership site. Those of you who have seen my Wishlist Member Review will already be aware that I’m a great fan of the software and have used it accross many of my own sites and also on the sites of clients from my web development business.
Whilst there are some things it does really well, there have often been requests for extra functionality to be included with the plugin. In my experience these have been the addition of more affiliate solutions (which was updated when the plugin reached version 2.5) and the second; an ability to offer coupon code for your membership site.
Unfortunately a Wishlist Member discount coupon system still isn’t a part of the core plugin but there is a solution! The Wishlist Products company that created the plugin have developed an add-on plugin which they are sharing as a bonus for anybody that signs up to their Wishlist Insider Membership site this month. Could they have added this to the main plugin? Maybe… but either way this is a valid and working solution for adding coupon codes to your membership site so if that is something you might want then it is definitely worth signing up for.
