So as I mentioned in a recent post there has been a bit of a debate recently over whether the future of internet marketing lies within email marketing or mobile marketing. If I’m being honest with you I’d say that the answer lies within both… at the same time! The way I see it these two mediums are already mobile marketing is pretty much becoming a part of internet marketing as more and more smartphones are released with the ability to go online!

There will always be the fundamentals that everyone needs like having your own websites and the ability to drive traffic to them. I will say this; if you haven’t even got the basics down then you really must get a website generating some traffic before you even begin thinking of going mobile!

Having said that every day I spend more and more time connecting through my iPhone and I’m not alone. In fact my mother actually got her first iPhone this weekend and I had the pleasure of guiding her through the installation process over the phone (love you really mum :P ). When there is this kind of exposure mobile marketing really becomes an integral part of the marketing mix.

I’m sure if you read my recent post on mobile marketing you likely already have an idea of my thoughts on this topic and might be wondering why I’m sending out another update so soon….
